Not only have SA’s political elite succumbed to the promises  of the perpetual subsidy idol, they have double-downed and subsidized Musk mania by buying the world’s largest battery under the delusion that this is the answer to their electricity grid’s stability problems. It is easy to spend somebody else’s money. Do you think America’s political dupes will take a lesson from the dupes down-under?  Doubtful!
