SUMMARY:Buteos In Bad Light: Raptor ID Course
DESCRIPTION:If you have difficulty distinguishing the variety of hawks that are found in Colorado\, especially in the fall\, then this is the course for you.  Presented by Karen Metz\, Extreme Raptor Monitor with decades of experience\, and Anne Price\, REF’s Curator you will see some exceptional pictures Karen has collected from photographers all around the country\, and you will meet many “live” examples of Buteos from REF’s collection.  This process helps lock identifying features in your memory to make field identification that much easier.  After the class is finished everyone will enjoy a tour of our mews to meet the other raptors in our care. \n \nPictured is the same course REF has presented to Colorado Parks & Wildlife Raptor Monitors.
