Eagle Scout Ceremony

Eagle Scout Court of Honor

We provide the very best Eagle Scout Court of Honor program!

Since our inception in 1980, we have provided our eagles to participate with scouts as they celebrate their achievement upon reaching the highest honor in scouting. We provide either a golden or bald eagle for your Court of Honor Ceremony. Or, if you wish to double the impact, we can provide both. Our bald eagle is in high demand and tends to be booked early so availability may be limited.

Patrick Tidwell, below, officially ascended into the realm of Eagle Scout. He is shown flanked by his family at his January 30th ceremony, above. Patrick’s Eagle Scout project was the first one to benefit REF’s new facility in Brighton.

Program: Our 30 minute program covers the symbolism of the eagle in scouting, as well as the cultural relationships of eagles with humanity over the past 5,000 years. We discuss the biology and ecology of eagles and their current conservation status, and share the personal history of the eagle(s) in attendance. The Eagle Scout will receive a membership with REF which includes our exclusive license plates featuring the bald eagle…shown below. If the Eagle Scout has not yet reached driving age, his family will receive a set of our license plates. The family will also receive a gold eagle pin and a set of bald eagle earrings. All of these items are exclusively available only through REF, to help you commemorate this once-in-a-lifetime event! A few moments for some great photos are also included with your own photographer.

REF created the first environmental license plates in Colorado. If you book one of our eagles you also get a set of our Colorado Respects Wildlife license plates for your scout or the scout’s family vehicle.

You and your Eagle Scout will never forget the experience!

Fees: The base fee for an Eagle Scout Court of Honor is $225, per scout, within a 15 mile radius of our facility in Brighton, Colorado.  This includes either species of eagle depending on availability.  A surcharge for time and distance will be added to this fee for locations outside of the 15 mile radius.

Bookings with less than seven days notice will incur a $100 rush fee if they can be accommodated. Prices subject to change without notice. Call us at 303-680-8500.

If you are outside of Colorado, some states require special permits for us to enter that state with our birds.  These permits may require a minimum of 30 days of processing time.
